They say things come in threes – which is exactly what happened when a Hamilton woman won $333,333 playing Lotto on the weekend.
The St Andrews woman, thought to be in her 30s, called in to the St Andrews Dairy to claim her prize first thing yesterday morning.
Dairy manager Fatish [CORRECTION: Satish] Pandya said the woman was a regular customer who was excited but calm when she arrived at the store.
“She came in on her own and I was busy at the time, I really only had time to fill out the necessary forms and wish her well, then she left,” Mr Pandya said.
He was not aware how the woman planned to spend her winnings as he did not have long to chat with her but said he hoped to see her soon.
“She is a regular customer of ours so hopefully we will catch up again soon,” he said
